SEO-56Avoid
Affiliate pages with nothing of your own
Affiliate pages that copy the merchant's product text and add nothing of your own. Examples are product lists from a feed and reviews of things you never used.
How to do it
Google's spam policies call this thin affiliation. Affiliate pages that add value are fine, such as original reviews, your own tests, comparisons or price history. Bing says sites that mainly send visitors to retailers without unique reviews, comparisons or analysis may lose visibility or be removed. Label every affiliate link, as Label every paid link says.
How to check
A build test compares each affiliate page with the merchant's feed text and finds less than 50% of the page's three-word sequences in the feed. Each affiliate page has at least one photo, test result or comparison table of your own.
