The standard we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA on every page. We follow them by choice. As a very small business, we are not covered by the European Accessibility Act.
How we test
- Before every full release, a browser opens every page on the site at phone and desktop width, in light and dark mode.
- On each of those pages, the axe-core checker must find no problems, and the page must not scroll sideways.
- We check by keyboard that every link, button and menu works and shows where the focus is.
- The site works without JavaScript, respects reduced motion and supports zoom up to 400%.
Known gaps
Automated checks find about a third of problems. We have not yet tested the site with screen reader users. Code samples in the playbooks keep their original layout, so very long lines wrap inside their box.
Tell us about a problem
If something does not work for you, write to hello@example.com. Say which page and what happened. We answer within five working days and fix what we can.
