Put the facts of a receipt in text
Every receipt and confirmation states its key facts as plain text. That covers who, what, when, how much and the reference number.
How to do it
Write the facts as short labelled lines in the plain text part, and the same in the HTML. Never put them only in an image. People search for them, and assistants and accounting tools read them.

Read the plain text part of a test receipt. It contains the order number, the total with its currency and the date.
