Cover every stage of the buyer's journey
Give each product or service a page for each of four buying stages. Cover the problem, the ways to solve it, the comparison with alternatives and the offer, each linking to the next.
How to do it
Someone with a problem searches for answers long before they search for you. A guide to "why oak floors turn grey" meets them first. A page on ways to fix it explains the options. A comparison of oil and lacquer helps them choose. The service page with prices and booking closes the sale. Tag each row of the keyword map with its stage, so a missing stage shows. Link each page to the next stage with text that names it, as Write link text that names the target page says.
How to check
The keyword map tags every page with one of the four stages. Every product or service has at least one page per stage, and each page links to a page of the next stage.
