Explain what you keep and why
Publish a full privacy policy, linked from every page. It says who you are, what you collect and why, the legal basis, retention, recipients, rights and complaints.
How to do it
Write the policy from a data map that lists each purpose with its data, legal basis, recipients, transfers and retention. Explain how to use each right and how to complain to a supervisory authority. These are the points GDPR Articles 13 and 14 require. Date it and link it from every footer.
How to check
A test confirms every page links to the policy. A reviewer ticks every item of Article 13 against the policy, and each one is there.
