Letting customers spend or cash out credits outside your service
Never let credits be paid out as money, passed to other customers or spent with other sellers. The one exception is when you hold the licence for it.
How to do it
Credits that buy only your own service are a prepayment. Stored value that other businesses accept can be electronic money under the E-Money Directive 2009/110/EC, which needs a licence. A marketplace where buyers spend credits with sellers needs the same care as Collect money for other sellers through a platform product. Refund unused paid credits to the original payment method through the provider, never as a bank transfer you make yourself. Ask a payments lawyer before you add transfers between accounts.
How to check
A search of the code and API finds no endpoint that pays credits out as money or moves them to another customer or seller. A feature that does is backed by a licence on file.
