Agent Wranglers

AI Act Required

Rule out the banned uses

Screen every AI feature against the practices banned by AI Act Article 5 before it is built, and record the answer per practice.

How to do it

The bans have applied since 2 February 2025. They cover manipulation that causes harm, exploiting vulnerable people, social scoring, and predicting crime from profiling alone. They also cover scraping face images in bulk and emotion recognition at work or school, except for medical or safety reasons. Biometric sorting by sensitive traits is banned too, and so is live face recognition in public by police, apart from narrow exceptions. The 2026 amendment, Regulation (EU) 2026/1744, adds two bans from 2 December 2026. They cover AI that makes sexual images of people without consent, and child abuse material. For a feature that generates images or video, test that such prompts are refused.

How to check

Every register entry has a screening with one answer per banned practice and a date. An image or video feature has an automated test with a set of banned prompts, and every one is refused.
