Be reachable over IPv6

Make the site and its DNS reachable over IPv6 with AAAA records, as well as over IPv4.

How to do it

Turn on IPv6 on the server and listen on [::]:443 and [::]:80. Add AAAA records for the site and its name servers.

Example

  listen 443 ssl;
  listen [::]:443 ssl;
  server_name example.com;
}
example.com.  3600  IN  A     203.0.113.10
example.com.  3600  IN  AAAA  2001:db8::10

How to check

curl -6 -sI https://example.com/ answers like curl -4. internet.nl reports IPv6 for the site and its name servers.
