Watch what the service costs
Track the cost of each service every month, set budget alerts, and look into any jump.
How to do it
Tag cloud resources by service and environment. Turn on the provider's budget alerts. Include the cost of logs, traffic and third-party APIs, which often grow fastest. See also tag every resource with its owner and give every account a budget with alerts.
How to check
A budget alert exists for every account, and a monthly report shows cost per service.
