OSS-33Optional
Earn the OpenSSF passing badge
Fill in the OpenSSF self-assessment for the project and reach at least the "passing" level. Show the badge in the README.
How to do it
The criteria are a free checklist of what a well-run project does, from a licence to a vulnerability process. Many of them are rules in this playbook, such as Choose an OSI-approved licence before the first release. Answer each question with a link to the evidence, so a reader can check it. Scorecard reads the badge level in its CII-Best-Practices check. The silver level adds governance, a code of conduct and access continuity, as in Keep at least two people who can publish.
How to check
The project's entry on bestpractices.dev shows the passing level or higher, and the README links to it.
