Move to the new SDK at least 60 days before the date. - How: Since April 28, 2026, uploads to App Store Connect must be built with Xcode 26 or later and the iOS 26 SDK. Since September 9, 2026, iOS apps must target iOS 13 or later. From August 31, 2026, new Android apps and updates must target Android 16, API level 36. Existing Android apps that target below API level 35 are hidden from new users on newer Android versions. Check both stores' requirement pages each quarter. Cross-platform apps also need the framework release that supports the new SDK.
