Offer a private sign-in next to social sign-in
An iOS app with a third-party login, such as Google, also offers a login that shares only name and email. That login lets people hide their email.
How to do it
Sign in with Apple meets Apple's three conditions. Apps that use only your own accounts, and business or school apps that need an existing company account, are exempt. Link the new login to the right account as link a provider login only to an account its owner controls says. The choice of methods is in let people sign in with an account they already have. Hidden email addresses relay mail, so send from a domain you register with Apple.
How to check
On the iOS sign-in screen, every third-party login sits beside an option that meets guideline 4.8. A test sign-up with a hidden email receives the welcome email.
