Give agents documentation they can fetch
Give agents current documentation for the libraries and services the project uses, instead of relying on what the model remembers.
How to do it
Models learn from old versions of libraries and mix up their APIs. Link the official documentation for the versions you use, or a plain-text version such as an llms.txt file. Many agents can fetch pages or read documentation through a tool.
How to check
Ask the agent how to use a feature added in the library's latest version. It answers from the fetched documentation, not from an older version.
