AXS-24Recommended
Keep help in the same place
Put help and contact links in the same order relative to the rest of the page on every page. This is WCAG 2.2 criterion 3.2.6 (A).
How to do it
Put contact and help links in the shared header or footer template, so they never move. Build that template as Build repeated HTML from shared modules says.
Examples
HTML example
<!-- In the shared footer template, used by every page -->
<footer>
<a href="/contact">Contact us</a>
<a href="mailto:help@example.com">help@example.com</a>
</footer>
How to check
A test reads the help links on every page type. Their order among the page's other parts is the same everywhere.
