# Be reachable over IPv6

- Level: Recommended

- Rule: Make the site and its DNS reachable over IPv6 with AAAA records, as well as over IPv4.
- How: Turn on IPv6 on the server and listen on `[::]:443` and `[::]:80`. Add AAAA records for the site and its name servers.
- Check: `curl -6 -sI https://example.com/` answers like `curl -4`. internet.nl reports IPv6 for the site and its name servers.
