Charge in your listed price currency instead. - Check: A test checkout with a card issued in another currency is charged in the listed price currency. The payment provider settings show dynamic currency conversion turned off. Where it is on, the total and mark-up appear before the payer agrees. - Applies when: The project takes payments, or has users in the EU. - How: Offering to convert at the point of sale is called dynamic currency conversion. In the EU, Regulation (EU) 2019/518 requires whoever offers it to show the total in the payer's currency. It must also show the mark-up over the latest European Central Bank reference rate. That comes before the payer agrees. Card networks add their own rules.
