# Let people choose what they get

- Rule: Offer a page where people can pick the kinds of mail they want, as well as leaving entirely.
- How: List each kind of mail, such as product news or event invites, with a switch each. Keep "unsubscribe from everything" one click away. See also [let people choose per type and channel](https://agentwranglers.se/playbook/notifications/channels-and-preferences/notification-preferences).
- Check: Switch off one kind on a test account. That kind stops, and the others keep arriving.
