# Send text instead of pictures of text

- Rule: Put every important word in live text. Never send a message that is one large image.
- How: Live text can be read when images are blocked, searched, translated, resized and read aloud. Image-only messages also look like spam to filters. Keep text in images to logos and decoration, and repeat any offer in live text.
- Check: Turn images off. The subject, the main message and the call to action are all still readable.
