Updated 2026-10-22. - ID: TKO-19 - Level: Recommended - Chapter: [Leaving an AI builder](https://agentwranglers.se/playbook/codebase-takeover/leaving-an-ai-builder.md) - Rule: When the last route has moved, set a date to switch off the builder app. On that date revoke its keys, remove its deploys and preview addresses, and delete its routes from the proxy. - Check: After the switch-off date, the builder app's keys fail with an authentication error. Its addresses no longer serve the app, and the proxy has no route to it. - How: A forgotten builder app keeps a copy of the database keys and a public address that still answers. Take a final export of its data first. Revoke the keys it used, delete its preview deploys as [Keep production data and secrets out of previews](https://agentwranglers.se/playbook/infrastructure/hosting-platforms/preview-isolation.md) says, and cancel the subscription.
