# Design for wrong answers

By Erik Bergstedt, Agent Wranglers. Updated 2026-10-20.

- Level: Required
- Chapter: [Deciding to use a model](https://agentwranglers.se/playbook/ai-features/deciding-to-use-a-model)
- Rule: Design every AI feature so a wrong answer is easy to spot, correct and undo before it causes harm.
- How: Show AI output as a draft or suggestion the user can edit. Show the source next to each claim in answers built from your own documents. Let users undo any change the feature made, for at least the session. Give every output a way to report it, as in [collect feedback on every answer](https://agentwranglers.se/playbook/ai-features/logs-privacy-and-feedback/feedback-on-every-answer). Keep a path to a person, such as a "talk to support" link, on every AI screen. A feature that only answers questions has no draft to edit and no change to undo. It needs only sources, reporting and the path to a person.
- Check: For each AI feature, a browser test reaches a person from the AI screen. Where the feature drafts text, the test edits the draft before saving. Where it changes data, the test undoes the change. Every step passes.
