# A fractional CTO for AI-built startups

You built the product with AI and it has customers now. You do not need a full-time CTO yet. You need a senior engineer you can call, who knows your app and keeps it safe as it grows.

## What a fractional CTO does for you

- Reviews the changes that touch payments, logins and customer data before they go live.
- Keeps your AI coding tools set up so they stop repeating the same mistakes.
- Answers when "it doesn't work" after a release, and helps you fix it.
- Helps you decide what to build next, what to fix first, and when to hire.
- Speaks for the tech when investors, partners or big customers ask hard questions.

## Why not just keep prompting?

AI starts from scratch every time. Your Expert remembers your app, and why each choice was made. That memory is what stops small mistakes turning into big ones.

## How it works

1. A Snapshot, so your Expert knows the app and its biggest risks.
2. An agreed rhythm: which changes they review, how often you talk, how to reach them when it breaks.
3. Regular short check-ins in plain words about what changed, what is risky and what to do next.

## Who your Expert is

A senior engineer with 15 or more years of writing software, most of it before AI, who uses AI coding tools every day. Selected for what your product leans on, such as payments, data or mobile.
